I would start with stage fear. Most of us have stage fear immensely and let’s not start with when our teachers called us to solve any problem on the board in front of the class. And that try hard to hide the shaking legs and all…

Well, after experiencing such things several times and later gathering the courage to perform a recitation in front of many in an auditorium, I learned how to teach your anxiety a lesson.

Okay, let’s suppose we have 100 people in a place and you gotta perform or present yourself in front of them. But then your anxiety strikes and all those 100 faces giving you a real hard time. Absolutely then comes my theory of “it’s only one”. This theory what I myself applied to myself and it worked, the theory goes like, we know there are 100 people there, but those 100 people are not thinking the same thing and that’s how you can think of them as one person because everyone is different and thus think differently. I mean, let’s just consider only one person who’s thinking something about you. And we all know it’s better to perform in front of only one than 100s of people around for us anxiety queens. So, if you think like that half of your anxiety drops and thus gives you more confidence.

PEOPLE DON’T REALLY THINK

Just like I stated in my first part that make it one, now I would like you to get the fact that most of the people don't really think whatever we are doing. The thing we are most anxious about is the judgment of the people. But trust me most of them don't really care what we do or say. They might give you that glare and make you all stirred up in your mind about it for years, but they’ll forget it like in minutes, and honestly, they don't care. So, let’s just think it like that that a person isn't really giving a darn about us, then why should we? Okay even if they are talking about it for weeks, okay for the worst of scenario, for months. But, it won’t be a year, TRUST ME. People just here to give us that feeling of insecurity and let’s not forget about our inferiority complex, but people have minds and they’ll keep thinking and saying stuff, but that should not matter. Because they don't feel what we feel, thus they will never understand. And that’s where we come to the fact that people don't really think of us like we assume it to be and they absolutely won’t care if you want to become an engineer or a florist. And we have to get it in our minds that people thinking or saying something is not equivalent to they are really worrying for us or thinking good for us.

IT’S ONLY YOU

It’s only you that matters.

Yes, you got me there I quoted it from Imagine Dragons’ “Believer”. But, isn't it just TRUE. You are going to fight your battle, the wars that you already won and going to win, it’s all YOU. Your dreams are never to be given up for, you dreamt it to see it one day to be true. Your dreams matter, you matter. And for that you gotta kick your anxiety out of your mind and life. Anxiety is like that banana skin on your road to your goal. You’ll slip for sure for that. So, let’s just be us nevertheless. IT’S YOUR THINKING OF YOURSELF THAT REALLY MATTERS AT THE END OF THE DAY. Don’t let anxiety suck the life out of you.
